The Architecture of Space
Sculpting residential environments through precision-engineered architectural millwork.
Trusted Since 1999 in NYC
At OzanCraft, great design isn’t just a philosophy—it’s the intentional execution of architectural continuity within your environment. Every detail is engineered to transform structural space, elevating both sensory beauty and permanent structural utility through masterful spatial curation.
Our work goes far beyond cabinetry. We create fully integrated kitchen and whole‑home systems that merge architecture, furniture, and industrial design into one cohesive, precision‑built solution. Each project is made to order in our Lynbrook, New York facility, allowing us to deliver ultra–high‑end, system‑based kitchens and storage environments with the refinement of bespoke furniture—yet with quicker lead times and lower overall cost.
OzanCraft occupies a rare niche: elevated, system‑driven design with the efficiency and accessibility homeowners and designers need today.
Our Journey
We are a New York City‑based design and build firm specializing in high‑end architectural millwork. Since 1999, we’ve partnered with residential and commercial clients to deliver bespoke design solutions that blend form, function, and technical excellence.
While we provide comprehensive design development and interior master planning, we are also a Licensed and Insured NYC Home Improvement Contractor (License #2008663‑DCA — DCWP Portal). For projects requiring official Department of Buildings (DOB) seals, we seamlessly coordinate with our network of licensed architectural consultants to handle all necessary filings and permits.
We're more than a contractor—we're collaborators in your creative vision. Our team works closely with architects, designers, and clients to develop tailored solutions that align with your goals, aesthetic, and budget.
The Maker's Standards
True sustainability is built into our process: we prioritize master‑level engineering and responsible sourcing.
Ethical & Responsible
We source premium, sustainable materials directly from trusted suppliers. By cutting out middleman logistics, we reduce our carbon footprint while ensuring only the highest‑grade wood enters our shop.
Precision & Waste Reduction
Because we fabricate every piece in our private factory, we maintain total control over production. We minimize material waste through precise engineering and environmentally conscious shop practices.
Built to Last
The most sustainable product is one that never needs to be replaced. We build permanent architectural assets designed to increase your property value and endure for generations.
About the Craftsman
Ozan Gulec is a New York interior designer and master craftsman who began learning woodwork at the age of nine, long before his formal training. He holds a fine arts degree from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul, where he trained in spatial design and fine woodworking, and he has been designing and building in New York since 1999. His work ranges from restoring century‑old townhouses on Central Park to kitchens, private libraries and full‑height wall systems in pre‑war apartments, often working alongside the client's architect, designer or developer. Ozan is the maker as well as the designer: he draws every piece in his Manhattan studio, engineers and fabricates it in his own shop in Lynbrook, and oversees the finishing and installation himself. Nothing is sent out to another shop, so the person who measures the room is the person responsible for the result.
"I treat every project as a unique architectural puzzle. My goal is to find the perfect balance between your vision and the structural reality of your home."
